description

The existing building complex is located in Saburtalo district - one of the most densely populated district in Tbilisi. We were assigned to develop site plan considering traffic congestion inside and outside the project territory, to arrange open-air recreation spaces, as well as to create interior design for employees of 5 different companies forming GHG (Georgian Healthcare Group). The shape of existing yard and buildings’ arrangement is used as substructure to our project. Buildings included in the complex are surrounding the courtyard. Alongside the block-edges green border is created to separate open-air gatherings from outdoor parking, while, as a plus, each company links to the yard separately. The space for outdoor parking can also be used for large outdoor events. Continuing site plan concept the functional arrangement of interior firmly follows the axis directed to green border in courtyard. In all departments the co-working space is positioned on the side of courtyard, while on the opposite street-side - closed offices are arranged. Office boxes are partitioned with colored glass, which transparencies view to the courtyard through the co-working place. Common working space is shaped with different open areas, which are divided with green islands - custom-designed working tables. Light, acoustic treatments, bright and natural colors and well-maintained climatic environment become key elements in design tailored to the employee.
