Inputs for the project design was the actual givens of the environment (development stage of the gambling industry, economical condition of the country, specific location of the site, existing consumers perceptions etc.). This is the place where people of different age, sex and occupation come, relax, leisure, entertain and feel comfortable. Our goal was to realize this initial concept in the architectural project. Interior design itself is based on prolongation and retention of stay time of the clients through adequate light, sound and atmosphere. Concept is also adopted to local clients as well as international visitors. As for the framework of the design existing international standards of the gambling industry were used and applied. General Structural framework of the project design: - Flexible/un_xed interior elements of ceiling and _oor and operations - Movable walls Specifically: Top of ceiling is constructed of expanded mesh, which is a more _sible solution. MEP (Mechanic, Engineering, Plumbing) system or technical ceiling is visually seen behind the mesh, which we consider as an interesting designing element. Design concept is a combination of classical, modern and industrial styles that creates posh and exclusive aura and incentivizes gambling. Overall layout of the main gaming area is designed so that it lets visitors ramble trough diferent gaming zones (labyrinth efect). Different gaming zones are using diggerent lighting intensity. Red, golden and eye-catching colors are used to keep visitors under awake mood. Curved forms ensures exclusive luxury atmosphere . Smooth, re_ective materials incentivizes gambling entourage. Visitors are transferred into different and exciting place. For general foor raised floor system is used. It provides an elevated structural floor above a solid floor and creates a hidden void for the passage of mechanical and electrical services. Its structure gives possibility to plan and reorganize gaming venue according to casino needs. Carpet is inlayed in each floor panel. Pixelated pattern is a call-out of wavy and colorful branding design. Walls are also panel gridded and could be mixed and reorganized according to casino needs. Wall panel sizes are standardized and gives possibility to mix styles and add/remove decorations. Used heavily in the design, namely in the reception desk, escalator and in other decoration elements, Chrome, Rusty metal fnish dominated among wall panels bring industrial and loft style. Panels are used with standartized dimensions and matches with pixel printed carpet floor and mesh ceiling. Soundboard panels effectively control any unwanted acoustic issues including drifting noise and echo. They can help to improve speech intelligibility, which can be particularly important in environments such as VIP area. Escalator is main vertival connection between two levels. Its transparent design gives prominence to industrial style. 2nd floor is divided into slot, VIP, restaurant staff (operational) zones. Slot zones are separated from other zones. Restaurant is the only place with windows (could be drown down upon request). Wood and plants are used as a decorative elements in the restaurant. Besides ordinary plants there is a chili garden space that creates healthy, eco-friendly atmosphere and is close to culinary theme. Mesh type ceilings are effectively used for adoptable and flexible ceilings. With its non-symmetrical wavy shape it gives a call out to casino brand style (liquidness). Wood fnish gives additional cozy touch. Driven by easthetic and technical needs for Casino, Black Mesh determines and outlines industrial/loft style. Lighting, air-conditioning units, CCTV, ventilation outlets and fire protection equipment can always be integrated into the ceiling system. There are two types of lighting in the casino: Base lighting and Decorative lighting. Base light is achieved by spotlight lighting trough entire casino. Decorative lights make effect of night sky/wave. The group of pendant lamps are used as elements of decorative lighting. Sparkling illuminated drops emphasies playfool mood and resembles to night sky. It is composed of confgurations of waves / spheres of LED light suspended at different heights and attached to the mesh ceiling via a floating tubular structure.
